MORRIS Ralph F. Morria, 64, Topeka, died June 26 at a Topeka hospital. Mr.

Morris waa an Ironworker until he retired In 1990 for health rasaona. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was born Oct. 16, 1921, at Wichita, the son of William F. and Cora E.

Butler Morris. He lived in Topeka most of his Ufa. He married Marjorie L. Powell on March 1, 1245, at Seattle, Wash. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sherry Colahan, Riverside, two aooa, Steven R. Morria and Robert A. Morria, both of Ibpe-ka; a sister, Mrs. Phyllis Hunt, Topeka: seven brothers, Robert E.

Morria, Donnie W. Morria and Philip E. Morria, all of Topeka; Wayne Morria, Oklahoma City: Garry L. Morris, Meriden, and Larry D. Morris, Bur-lingame; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Servicea were July 1 at Northland Christian Church, Topeka, Military graveside services were conducted by Philip BUlard, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1660 in Maple Grave Cemetery, Lecompton. Davidson Funeral Home, Topeka, waa in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may bo made to American War Dads No. 91, 117 W.

6th, Topeka, 66609, or Northland Christian Church, 9102 N. Topeka Topeka, 66617. BERT BOEHME Bert Boehme, 97, Topeka, died June 90 at a Topeka hospital. He waa a retired employee of the former Topeka Supply Depot. He was born April 19, 1992, at Osawkie, the son of William and Lucinda Augusta Johnston Boehme.

He had lived in Grantville before moving to Topeka where he lived moat of hia life. He waa an Army veteran and served in World War I from 1917 to 1919. He waa a member of the Phillip BUlard Post No. 1660 of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Ho married Gertrude M.

Yount on Dee. 9, 1922, in Sioux City, Iowa. She urvivea. Other survivors include one aon, John W. Boehme, Topeka; taro daughters, Ellen Esaman and Mildred Esaman, both of Topeka; one sister, Adah Boehme, Topeka; 16 grandchildren; and 29 He waa preceded in death by three sons: Robert L.

Boehme, who died July 7, 1926; Raymond C. Boehme, March 4, 1929; and Richard L. Boehme, March 6, 1986. A grandson, Ronnie R. Boehme, died Juno 90, 1961.

Graveside services were held July 2 at the. Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka, with military graveside services conducted by Philip BUlard Poet No. -1660, Topeka. Davidson Funeral Home, Topeka, was in charge of arrangements. C.H.

FOWLER SR. C-H. Fowler 86, Route 1, Cummings, died Juno 24 at the Joifaraoo County Memorial Hoapitai, Winchester. Mr. Fowler farmed in the Shannon and Cummings eommunitiea moat of his Ufa.

Ha waa born April 7, 1200, at Bumnor, the son of Char lea sad Elisabeth Sippel Fowler. He moved to the Shannon community west of Atchison at an early ago. Mr. Fowler waa a member, elder and truetee of tha Cumminga Christian Church where ho also served 66 years as treasurer. Ho was a member of the Atchison County Co-op board of directors and cl the board of the Washington School District southeast of Cumminga.

He wee married to Lola Heater Dee. 20, 1224, at Atchison. She survives. Other survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Charlene Latzke, Huron, Mrs.

Joan Basyo, Nortonville, Mrs. Marian Whitenack and Mra. Kay Shipman, both of Atchison, and Mra. Barbara Lively, Leavenworth; a aon, Chubs H. Fowler Nortonville; two slaters, Mrs.

Bertha 8t uckar, Atchiaon, and Mra. Anna Wynkoop, Nortonville; 13 grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters. Services ware June 27 at Stanton Mortuary in Atchiaon. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery at Atchiaon. Memorial contributions may bo made to the Cumminga Christian Church.

Mr. EUia waa a retired civil engineer. He was a superintendent more than 90 years far the Ralph Jannotta Construction and Beabmandra Conatraction both on Long Island, N.Y., and Irwin-Greenwell Construction at Homestead, Fla. He waa an Army veteran of World WarU.

He waa born Aug. 22, 1217, at Orleans, the son of Herbert and Laura Hill EUia. He lived in Merrick, L.I., N.Y., bom 1264 to 1061. He later lived in Florida City and Palm Bay, before he moved to Lakewood Hills in May. He waa married to Mary Olin Spoiasco Dee.

4. 1242, at New York City. 8 he survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mra. Sandra Greenwell, Osawkie: two sona, William Ellia, Milford, N.H., and Mark EUia, Orlando, a sister, Mrs.

Laura Walker, Crofton, Md.i and three grandchildren. Cremation waa planned. Memorial servicea were private. His aahea were scattered off Cape Cod, Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Hampton-Barrett Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. MRS. MABEL G. WALROD Mrs. Mabel G.

Walrod, 74, May-atta, died June 22 at a Holton hospital. She was born 8ept. 21, 1211, at Denison, the daughter of Erik and Julia Thomason Lund in. She lived all of her Ufa in the Mayetta and Denison eommunitiea. Mrs.

Walrod waa a member of the Four Korners Club and the United Methodist Church, both in Mayetta. She married Albert C. Walrod on Jan. 15, 1294, at Hoyt. He survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Vida Keyser, Maple HUI; four sons, John Walrod, James Walrod, and Roy E. Walrod, aU of Mayetta, and Donald Walrod, Yukon, a slater, Grace Twombiy, Holloa; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were July 2 at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton. Burial was in Mayetta Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Holton Hoapitai ia cars of Dsniaon State Bank at Holton, 66496.

JOSEPH CLAIR JOE" HUNT Servicea were July 1 at the, Davidson Funeral Chapel, for Joseph Clair Joe1, 88, Topeka, who died June 22 at a Topeka hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Hunt worked as a farm laborer and a railroad section laborer. He later waa employed at M. Katch and Co.

far 16 years unttt his retirement in 1269. He waa born Feb. 21, 1996, at Michigan Valley, the aon of John and Sarah Lon gm Ira Hunt. Ho waa reared in the Vaaaar and Lyndon communl-Uea in Osage County and moved to Topeka in about 1290. Ho attended Grace Tabernacle and Victory Tabernacle churchea.

Mr. Hunt waa preceded in death by his wife, Edith Hunt, who died in 1966. Survivors include four nephews, Gerald G. Frost, Grantvilla, Kenneth F. Frost, Perry, Carl Woods, Topeka, and Floyd Woods, Kanaaa City: and two nieces, Mrs.

Merle Johnson, Winchester, and Mrs. Thelma Stewart, Kanaaa City. Burial waa ia Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka. MARY LEE FREEL Memorial servicea and cremation were at Alameda, tar Mra. Mary Leo Free), 60, Alameda, formerly of Tbpeka.

She died June 2S at Alameda. 8ho was born March 7, 1926, at Winchester, the daughter of John Lament and Mary Orr Lamont. She lived at Topeka far more than 90 years. She waa married to Jim Freel, who survives. Ho formerly was chief of police at Topeka.

Other survivors include three sisters, Nona Fennell, Granada Hiila, Dorothy Wilier, Lawrence, and Jean Longhoffer, Mission, Texas; and a brother, Robert Canon, Valley Falla. Fowtor-Anderoon Funeral Homo, Alameda, was in charge of arrange-menta. MRS. ELIZABETH BA8YE Services were June 28 at Parker-Prke Mortuary, Topeka, for Mrs. Elisabeth "Miranda" Buys, 88, of North Kanaaa City, formerly of Topeka, who died June 25 in a Kansas City hoapitai.

She was employed by F.W. Wool-worth in Topeka for 2S years before he retired. She waa born May 0, 1908 at Thompaonvillc in Jefferson County, the daughter of Frederick M. and Margaret Young Reynolds. She lived in Topeka many years before aba moved to North Kansas City four years ago.

She was married to Elmer LeRoy Baaye on Aug. 19, 1924, in Topeka. Ho died Aug. 1, 1977. Survivora include taro sons, Harold E.

Bssye, North Kansas City, and F. Clayton Baaye, Garland, a daughter, Mra. Vera BranUngham, Fort Smith, a slater, Mra. Aletha Schneider, Topeka; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. Burial waa in Rochester Cemetery, Topeka.
