The summary is: Ticket Bales 1045; other receipts 12,730.82, total expenses, premiums 1603.00; races 12,476.50, other expenses $2,900.67, total $6,234.99. It should be remembered that each of the 150 stockholders received a season ticket to the fair which meant $200 at least off the receipts.

Thomas Poe of Solomon. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Dr. F. S.

Blayney and took place under an arch from which hung a beautiful wedding bell The attendants were Miss Josephine Campbell and Mr. Harry Ross. About fifty guests were present. The bride wore a lovely gown of white silk and carried bride's roses An elegant three course supper was served. The beautiful array of costly gifts received give evidence of the esteem in which these young people are held.

The bride has grown to womanhood here and is admired and respected by all for ber sweet and lovable disposition. The groom is an enterprising young man of sterling worth. Mr. and Mrs. Poe loft for a wed ding trip to Kansas City after which they will reside on a farm near Solomon.
