Joy: Mrs. Olive Joy, wife of Samuel Joy of Arkansas City, died Wednesday evening at half past 7 o'clock. Mrs. Joy had been sick 2 years from a complication of diseases. She was 48 years, 5 months & 4 days old. The husband & 2 brothers, G.F. & E.A. Johnson of near Maple City, survive the deceased, and all were present when the end came last evening. The funeral was held from Oldroyd's chapel Friday afternoon and the body taken to Ripley, Iowa, for burial accompanied by the husband & brothers.
